GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Water in the closed circuits of flame and water-pipe boilers or which is added due to losses in closed circuits, is the integral part of the system. However the following negative situations may ocur due to calcium, magnesium, carbonates and dissolved gas as well as low ph level in water.

  • Scab formation that increases fuel use required for unit vapor generation by diminishing heat transfer.
  • Formation of boiler scales which may cause severe damages.
  • Causes acidic corrosion.

Water is in contact with boiler heating surfaces, flame and water pipes, economizers, hotwell, feed pumps and deaerators in water circuit; süper heaters, fuel, oil and water heaters equipped in steam circuit, serpentines equipped in tanks and steam trabs in steam circuit. Thus, all the equipment is exposed to risk of scab and corrosion. GREEN BWT is a boiler water treatment product featuring alkaline and contains corrosion and scab inhibitors, mud regulators and oxygen binding ingridients. GREEN BWT ensures an easy blow-down of magnesium and calcium salts, by enabling them to precipitate as non-adhesive mud. The product maintains proper alkalinity level and ph level, as an inhibiting effect of corrosion.

  • Saves up fuel and extends broiler’s lifecycle: With scabs reducing heat transfer, a greater amount of fuel is consumed for unit vapor generation, which also causes boiler to consume more energy. GREEN BWT prevents scab formation and ensures saving up energy as well as expands stand-by period of broiler which avoids wear and tear of the broiler.
  • Reduces costs and extends boiler life: Corrosion cause holes in metal surfaces.Holes caused by corrosion in heaters and serpentines, in particular, lead to serious risks such as fuel or oil leakage to the boiler. These situations require high cost cleaning applications. Use of GREEN BWT avoids corrosion and saves up costsplus extends life cycles of boiler and all other circuit elements.

USAGE

Use period and dosing of GREEN BWT are determined depending on the test results of the sample taken from the system. The initial dosage is 2.4 litres og GRREN BWT for every 1000 liters of boiler water. This will bring optimum P.Alkalinity value to 200 ppm. Below table is advised fort he treatment. Depending on the chlorine levels, blow-down can also be done in the system.

ADVISED LEVELS OF CHLORIDES AND P.ALKALINITY.

P Alkalinity: 100-300 ppm CaCO3.
Chlorides: 200 ppm Cl max.

Tests on systems , in which GREEN BWT is applied are performed AYT MARINE CHEMICALS combined product test kits. It is advised to submit test results to the technical department of AYT for interpretation and recording in log sheets, to be presented with the product. You may take samples from the boiler priodically and send send to the laboratory of AYT MARINE CHEMICALS for more comprehensive analysis. You will receive the result together with a treatment recommendation form in a very short while.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Ph level of water drops and causes greater tendency to act as an acid, exposing the boiler to corrosion, in case hydrojen-ion level as a result of various reactions in boiler water. As corrosion reduces the Wall thickness of the boiler metal,compressive strength decreases, making it impossible to maintain operating pressures. This will lead to a continuous increase in difference between design pressure and real operating pressure, causing inefficient and insufficient boiler operation. On the contrary to what is known, water generated in evaporators is not an ideal boiler or cooling water. GREEN AC is a strong additive for alkaline boiler water. Use of GREEN AC prevents corrosion , by ensuring ideal ph level for boiler water and providing required alkaline media for coordinated products to perform the most proper treatment.

GREEN AC may be used at all pressure and temperature levels together with AYT MARINE CHEMICALS coordinated boiler water treatment products.
RECOMMENDED LIMITS : P-Alkalinity: 100-300 PPM CaCO3.
RECOMMENDED LIMITS : Ph : 9,5 - 11.
225 ml for each ton feed water with Green AC dosing , an increase of 100 ppm is observed in the P-Alkalinity Value. Initial dose is 0,5 l/ton.

However, calcium, magnesium carbonates and bicarbonates in water dissolve due to heat and generate carbon dioxide. Moreover, cold feed-water contains high level of dissolved oxygen.In case fuel heaters, equipped between booster units and high-pressure fuel pups to heat F/0 up to combustion temperature, have a hole due to corrosion, the fuel may run towards boiler or more severe problems may occur such as steam intervention to the fuel system. This will damage high-pressure fuel pumps and injectors, vital components of M/E fuel systems, with water running towards combustion room besides fuel, which will arise very maintenance and repair costs Green CC, with its evaporation degree being 102 °C, exits from the main stop valve together with vapors and create a protective, heat and pressure-resistant film around internal walls of all circuit elements, through which vapors circulate, until it turns back to the boiler. In this way, the system is protected from dissolved gas and acid corrosion.

USAGE

Green CC can be used in conjunction with AYT MARINE CHEMICALS coordinated boiler water treatment products or with other supplemental Green products. Green CC should be applied with pH control along condensation line. Continuous dosing is essential.
Recommended pH range: 8,3-S

Daily Dosing: 40-80 ml/ton. Cren CC is dosed via;

  • A chemical by-pass pot feeder equipped along feed pump suction line.
  • A dosing pump equipped along feed or condensation line.

For dosing pump supply, we need to consult your technical information on

  • Circuit pressure and flow.
  • Circuit diameter.
  • Pipe materials.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

GREEN HC maintains the phoshate reserve in the boiler water, enables these hard salts forming scab and boiler scale to precipitate as sludgethat does not attach to boiler metal, while enabling easy blow-down.

GREEN HC can be used at any temperature and under any pressure, and together with other AYT MARINE CHEMICALS coordinated boiler water treatment products.

Recommended Limits

Necessary phosphate reserve is 20-50 ppm for boiler with operating pressure up to 35 bars and 20-30 ppm for boilers with higher pressure levels. Each 0,036 ml GREEN HC provides 10 ppm phosphate reserve in boiler water.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Cooling Water Treatments

Recommended Measurement Results :

NITRIT shoul be between 1000-2000 ppm İdeal Nitrite level is 1450 ppm.
Chloride: max 50 ppm.

Ph: shoul be 8,3-10

Initial dosing: 8,5 lt/ton 830 ml GREEN CWT dosing for each ton feed water increases nitrite reserve up to 150 ppm.
